In the world of the Addams Family, being sad is being happy, the senseless is the sensible, feeling pain is feeling joy, recklessness is prudent, and death and suffering are the material from which your dreams are made. However, this peculiar family is about to face one of the most frightening (and most common) nightmares of every parent; Your children get older.

For hundreds of years, Gómez and Morticia have tried to preserve the authentic Addams values, as special as they are unique, but as much as they wish to continue living in that harmony, something unexpected will happen: their macabre and beloved daughter, Wednesday, has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet, affectionate and intelligent boy from a “normal” and respectable Ohio family. No one is very in agreement with this couple, but to make things worse, Wednesday has invited the “Beinekes” to dinner.

Welcome to a disastrous, fateful and hilarious night, in the Addams’ house, the most hidden secrets will be revealed, relationships, love affairs and friendships will be examined, and the Addams Family, ancestors included, will have to face the only and terrible thing that has managed to be avoided for generations: change. The show, which brings the characters created by the illustrator Charles Addams to the theatre tables, will be directed by Esteve Ferrer and produced by Lets Go Company with the special effects that already characterizes them.

The comedy, based on the libretto by Brickmann and Elice, features music by Andrew Lippa and began his tour of the stages at the Ford Centre for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre in Chicago in 2009 and continued his performances at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in Broadway in 2010, achieving great success among the public. Known for the television adaptation of the sixties, the Addams family made the leap to the big screen in 1991 and since then there have been numerous film adaptations of this peculiar family.

Betting on innovation and social commitment, the LETSGO production company signs the first agreement in the world of musicals to offer a comprehensive accessibility system for the work La Familia Addams. This inclusive project aims to make the theatre accessible to people with auditory or visual sensory disabilities, using a technology created by the Carlos III University of Madrid with the coordination of Global Scene and Communications, with the support of the Community of Madrid, and with the creative image of the agency C & W.

Carmen Conesa stars as Morticia and Xavi Mira as Gomez, while Lydia Fairen plays the role of Wednesday, who is the daughter of this couple. She is trained in singing, interpretation and modern dance, she has worked in important musical productions such as “Los Miserables” (playing the role of “Eponine”), Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, High School Musical, etc. Now she goes to the macabre comedy, to be part of The Addams Family, putting herself in the role of “Wednesday Addams”
