  1. Stroll along South Bank and discover this side of London in the south of the River Thames: you will be accompanied by the London Eye, the Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern among others. Do not miss one of the many street markets in the city.
  2. Look for the statue of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens.
  3. Visit the City during the week to check its bustle or on Saturday, when you will be the (almost) sole owner of its streets.
  4. Take advantage of the free concerts of Covent Garden street musicians.
  5. Stroll through Piccadilly Circus and take a picture with the typical illuminated signs in the background and if you dare, you can participate in a night tour that will take you to discover the most modern London. The visit, full of curiosities, costs about € 19 and will take you to explore the main downtown London.
  6. If it’s Saturday, do not miss a free concert at the National Gallery: at noon, there are musicians of the best bands, from piano concerts to artists with ukulele! And in this Museum, there are paintings by Botticelli, Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, Goya and more!
  7. If you have time you can visit one of the many parks: Hyde Park, Kew Gardens, Kensington Gardens, Richmond Park, St James’ Park, Green Park, Regents Park and Greenwich Park.
  8. Take a picture while crossing the famous Abbey Road.
  9. Get lost in the halls full of luxury of Harrods.
  10. Attend the changing of the guard ceremony in front of Buckingham Palace, you can see the official calendar here. And if you like the monarchy roll, visit Windsor Castle.
  11. There are many free tours: both to visit the city and to know its best museums … find out! And if you have the possibility, do not miss one of the most original tours in London: Jack the Ripper, an adventure! It costs € 16.
  12. Stroll through SoHo, one of the prettiest neighbourhoods in London and look for a cool pub.
  13. London is one of the cities with the most cultural interest in the world: almost every day there are festivals, concerts, shows … check out the web.
  14. Stay of stone in front of the skeleton of the famous dinosaur of the Museum of Natural Sciences.
  15. See the Tower Bridge. Here you can see the dates and times when you get up.
  16. Get lost in the Tate Modern, one of the most famous galleries of modern art in the world (and free!) Also on the top floor there are views that take away the hiccups … although if we have wonderful views, none of them like ‘The View from The Shard ‘.
  17. You cannot leave without seeing the Towers of London that in the past were used as a palace, prison and even as a zoo.
  18. Do not miss the British Museum: it takes time to see everything because it’s huge, but since it’s free, you can go back as many times as you want. Here you will find Egyptian mummies, statues of Easter Island, imprints of the Buddha and remains of the Parthenon among others. If you like history, this place is paradise!
  19. If you prefer science to history, visit the Museum of Science.
  20. Visit the Abbey of Westminster where the tombs of Kings and English personalities such as Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Charles Dickens and others are found.
  21. See the Cathedral of St. Paul: the second largest religious building in the world … after San Pietro in Rome!
  22. If there is sun and it is hot (which as you know will not always be so easy to catch in London) you can go swimming in Lake Highgate. Do not worry that there are no monsters included in its waters.
  23. Make friends with the St James Park ducks.
  24. Step on the first meridian at the Greenwich Observatory.
  25. Rest in Trafalgar Square under the statue of General Nelson and his 4 lions.
